怀来乡村振兴风电项目由怀来县新能源+乡村振兴项目（13.95万千瓦）和怀来15万千瓦风电乡村振兴示范项目组成，总投资约20 亿元人民币。乡村振兴风电项目是农村能源革命的有力抓手、助力乡村全面振兴的重要载体，对于壮大村集体经济、助力乡村全面振兴，促进农村能源绿色低碳转型、实现碳达峰碳中和具有重要意义。项目建设的同时，与当地旅游业相结合，带动绿色主题旅游及周边产业，修缮和新铺道路有效助力当地经济的发展。
